Point of view is very important in sports and happens in basically every sporting event. It applies to sports in quite a few ways by different levels of people. One point of view comes from the announcer or announcers of a professional sporting event. They are pretty much experts on the sport they are covering so their point of view on both the teams and the outcome of a game can effect other people’s opinion. Although a point of view from an announcer cannot effect the outcome of a game or a play, they do enough research to know who has the better chance of winning. They obtain this knowledge through things like statistics and past performances of teams.
Another group of people who have a point of view about sports are of course, the fans. Most fans do not do as much research as the announcers themselves do, so most people who impartial to a certain game that is being played will trust the announcer’s point of view over a fan’s. Like the announcer’s point of view, a fan’s point of view cannot effect an outcome of a game or play, the only thing that will effect those outcomes are the performances of the players.
Overall, the point I am trying to make is that there are many people who have different point of views on different sports, but none of those viewpoints can really effect the game being played in any way, but, perhaps they can change or alter the viewpoints of other people.
